I recently had a chance to look into the special vet clinic at Auckland Zoo..it is open for public viewing of the operations. Now Wellington Zoo has opened the same style of clinic, called "The Nest" and the public can watch the veterinary staff at work.
Wellington Zoo also featured regularly in a recent New Zealand TV programme about Wild Vets, http://tvnz.co.nz/content/2700072, so it is great to see them get this facility.
