Filmmaker Rajakumaran started his career in film industry working as assistant director to Vikraman. While working with Vikraman in the project ‘Suryavamsam’, he fell in love with actress Devayani. Off the late, he directed her in couple of movies ‘Nee Varuvaayena’ and ‘Vinnukkum Mannukkum’. Soon after these movies, both of them got married. While Devayani started shining like a bright star in small screen series, director Rajakumaran was sidelined as he wasn’t able to deliver a good hit and even he missed the great opportunity with Vijay’s ‘Sura’. Now he has acquired the rights of Venu Aravind’s debut directorial ‘Sabaash Sariyaana Potti’ in Kerala as the film has Malayalam film industry’s successful actor Jayaraman in lead role. The director announced his news plans during the audio launch of ‘Sabaash Sariyaana Potti’ that was held recently in Chennai.
