If USD falls further-then other alternatives like migrating to Canada and Australia are more attractive.
Australia rewards you in terms of more points for having
-Better English
-Possessing high tech skills in demand
-Being less than 35 years old.
Australia has business ties to both Europe and far east Asia.
Compare this to US high skilled immigration system!. Ah!.
Canada is already worse than India (atleast for IT sector). Hard to find jobs. Salaries are 75-80% of corresponding US jobs. And Candian $ is also cheaper (though catching up with USD).

no that makes no sense. There is absolutely no need to mention illegals in that paragraph where they are talking about high-skilled immigrants. There is no one (well except Bernie Sanders and Tom Tancredo) who is against high-skilled immigrants. Hard to find a line against our cause, so they lump in a line about illegals? Thats plain stupid.

You definitely need to expose and name your employer whose sadistic attitude caused so much pain and suffering during these critical months. Why not? Although I have applied for GC, I have no desire to take US citizenship, just to let you know. The majority does not mean the whole world and also does not mean everyone. There are Indian citizens that love India. Parents should be able to make decisions for their kids until they are 18. The kid can take US citizenship when he is 18 if parents have opted for Indian citizenship.

I understand that you guys have done a lot with limited resources, but trying to isolate yourself from the issue of illegal immigrants issue is not going to help us either. We need to use the momentum of illegal issue to sneak in our provisions (which we already have with the advance degree provision, exception of spouses from cap,capture of unused visa numbers).
I think you are wrong in stating that I do not grasp the issue that AILA is only interested in illegal immigration issue and not in EB3 retrogression. Exactly what happens when thousands of people contact senators instead of one fax from one organization with one point of contact just so that if some one actually calls back from the senator�s office we at least have some one who could explain the situation in a way that makes sense?
Also, I know how difficult it could be to get an amendment in just as well as you and I also know the fact that the real interest is in solving the illegal immigrant�s issue. The reason for that is the issue that the U.S has is with ILLIGAL IMMIGRATION. The EB retrogression is really our problem, not some thing that is going to raise alarms in the senate. Which is why any amount of hue and cry is not going to change the situation? We should be glad that the advance degree provision, recapture of unused visa numbers and exemption of spouses from cap will make way for a few people and in the process clear up the backlog in EB3 category. You can't generalize. If your kids are smart they can get into better colleges like IITs etc. I think you are confusing the issue about adaptability with good future prospects.
Wait a second. If you are not adaptable to the new environment, it becomes a rat race.If the situation is not conducive, your smartness aint gonna help. I think thats what the OP clearly meant. Its not easy for a kid who is in 8th grade in US to snugly fit into Indian System. Coming to the IIT's, Have you ever compared the total number of seats available in IIT's to the accepted numbers from IVY leagues and other big schools. In India, you have to be the best among the best to get into IIT's. You have to be best here and oh yeah.. You dont have to lose some of the smartness to reservations. But I agree with you that parents should let children pursue their own interests rather than thinking about him/her being a doc/eng.

IV is open for suggestions. That doesn't mean every suggestion posted by every member will be accepted and implemented. Do you know any organization that implements all suggestions by it's 25,000 members? If you know one, please let me know!
There is an established process to make these suggestions
1) Become a verified member by completing your profile providing verifiable contact information. IV will never accept suggestions from members who don't trust it (enough to provide their contact info)
2) Join a state chapter. Become a member/leader. Or start a 'special interest group' like IV physicians if you have a unique situation which needs a different solution.
3) Initiate your suggested activity in your state chapter. By initiate, I don't mean just posting the suggestion here or over there. 'Initiate' means setting the agenda, date, venue etc. and calling the members, and motivating them to participate. If it succeeds in one chapter, other chapters will soon join you (my experience as a chapter leader)
4) Please understand that as an organization representing volunteers, any suggestion needs the approval of majority to be implemented. Only way to get that majority buy-in is to initiate it on a small scale, and then develop it into a success story. Once others see success, they'll (majority) be motivated to join and support.
5) Most importantly, we need members who can 'lead' these efforts. Without leadership these suggestions will never take off.
I can assure you that a verified member ready to initiate his suggestion, take a lead and own the implementation of his/her suggestion will never be discouraged by us. IV leadership will be more than happy to provide all necessary help [ phone numbers to call, E-mail addresses] etc. to help the endeavor.
So the basic question is - Do you have it in you? If you do, your suggestions are most welcome.

Do you have to go thru an accountant to start a company?
I started an LLC earlier this year. Much easier and less risk with an LLC. It is still early to say whether the company will make it to higher grounds or not. But I sure am trying. I have me and my wife as manager members. No employees at the moment.
