One of the better professions that provides PERKS (and if you look at TENURE as a perk), teachers are in fat perk city.
Here's a new one.
If you teach in a wealthy school district and can not afford to live in the area, the school district may provide affordable housing on vacant land in the district.
Hmmmm.....Suppose you teach in a very poor district with a lot of substandard housing?
Will you build me a nice condo on some vacant land in the district!
