Creativity is required for many people as Christchurch has exhausted the world's supply of chemical toilets after the earthquake. I think 30,000 are without toilets... many are still without power.
Life as we knew it has changed for the city - there will be uncertainty for jobs, housing, livelihoods.
Schools are adapting by sharing their campuses - half a day each.
Tertiary education will alter as students learn in marquees, change campuses, all with issues re roading, transport etc.
I think we all need to be flexible and try to cope. SIlver lining swill appear - we just haven't found them yet.
