Sorry for the lack of blogging this week I am back on track and have typed up a few posts ready to upload this week. I went to Newport (Wales) yesterday and I couldn't resist a look in Boots to see what bargains I could get. At the moment there is an offer of 3 skincare products for the price of 2! I had to give in. I purchased my usual Johnsons Face Wipes and St Ives Apricot Facial scrub and I bought the Neutrogena Wave Duo. I was stood in the aisle for about 15 minutes debating the purchase. It was £10.20 and that is what put me off as I haven't seen many reviews about it. My mum persuaded me so I got it.
FACTS:
- The Wave Duo removes dirt, oil and make up. It can be used in the morning or at night!
- Gives you softer great looking skin after just 1 use
- Its a great little size and is waterproof so you can use it if you're having a nice soak in the bath
- 2 speed power cleanser
- £10.20 from Boots
- It comes with 1AA battery
- It comes with 14 pads. (You can buy the refills from boots also for £5.10 includes 30pads)
HOW TO USE:
*First you securely put a pad onto the head that's on the wave. Its sticks kind of like velcro*
*Then wet the pad and select which speed you would like.
You can pick from 1) Lower Speed for a gentle daily massage 2) Higher speed for deep pore cleansing*
*Then in a circular motion move the Wave Duo over your face and neck. Once you feel that you have used it for long enough ( I did it for about 7 minutes as it was so relaxing)*
*Then rinse face thoroughly with warm water and pat dry*
Here is my pad after use...click off the page if you don't want to see but it proves that it really does cleanse the skin.
This pad started off white and I used my make up remover first so it does deep cleanse
MY VERDICT:
After being skeptical because of the price and lack of reviews I took a chance (thanks to my mummy) and the gamble has paid off. It really does do what it says. I've used it 3 times now and my skin feels so soft. When you first use it your skin does go red but that is because the vibration of it is helping the blood to circulate in the face. But that calms down 10 minutes after use. I am really happy with this and I can't wait to try all of the other pads that you can get for it.
Give it a go ladies! You can see from the after use picture that I took of the pad that it really does deep cleanse. I had used my Johnsons wipes and toner before this and yet it still managed to get all the dirty off my face that the other products couldn't. I love this and I have a feeling that you all will too.
