Here are some makeup tricks that I have learnt over the years.
Struggle when plucking eye brows? I used to always over pluck my eyebrows which lead to me having to draw them on...not a good look! Eyebrow pencils are for filling in gaps not to draw a whole brow. When plucking my brows I take a coloured pencil and draw the shape that I want. (see pic) I then pluck along the coloured line and below. This way you cant over pluck and end up with no eye brows!
Hide that extra chin...I have a really long face so I always want to contor and add definition to my face where I can. Using Sleek Face Contour Kit and my MAC 109 (i think the number has faded) I shade in my chin and take it all the way to my jaw line. Ive made the picture darker just so you can see where to shade. Im not over keen on adding shade to my forehead area as I think it looks dirty on some girls to I tend to miss that one out.
Make your eyes look bigger - The biggest mistake that girls do is use the eyeliner all around the eye. DONT DO IT! It may work for Cheryl Cole but it doesnt work for majority of us. I tend to use my Sleek Liquid Liner on the lid and stay as close to the lash line as possible. Then when doing the lower I use Sleeks Eye Liner Kohl Pencil but I only take it about 3/4 of the way - Do not join the eyeliners in the corner of the eye (the corner with the tear duct) This will make your eye look really small!
Sore Lips - I am always getting dry/chapped lips which is awful as I am a lipstick addict! Firstly I exfoliate my lips with either my face exfoliator or some sugar. I then use my concealer and lightly dab the concealer onto my lips with a bit of moisturiser. This acts as a great base and it makes the lips one tone which is perfect before applying lipstick. Once you have applied lipstick add a bit of lipgloss to the dry areas of your lips in my case its the corners of my mouth that get dry so I apply gloss in the corners and there you go a sexy pout! No one needs to know that you have dry lips hiding underneath that lippy! (Im wearing MAC Angel and Mac Flusterose Gloss)
