COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Girl Scout Troop 931 in Colorado Springs is celebrating a really good year of selling cookies.
The troop sold 25,144 boxes of cookies this year, according to the Colorado Springs Gazette.
The newspaper said the 21 girls in the troop will use the earnings to pay for trips to the zoo, aquarium sleepovers, community projects, activities such as ropes courses and fencing lessons, and even a cruise to Alaska.
Most of the girls in Troop 931 sold more than 1,000 boxes individually. Girl Scouts of Colorado considers girls who sell 350 or more boxes to be "super sellers," the newspaper said.
