Way back, when I worked in hospital finance, WE (the hospital) charged $7.50 for the surgical tray and the physician charge was all inclusive of their pregnancy fees.
Times have changed--except for penises!

****Colorado To End Circumcision Coverage.
(Change For Medicaid Patients Begins July 1.)
DENVER -- Colorado will end coverage for routine circumcisions under Medicaid next month.
Opponents said there is little justification for the procedure, and state officials say the state will save thousands of dollars.
The change takes effect July 1.
According to the Denver Post, the change is expected to save the state's general fund $186,500 a year.

Nothing like a proposed ban on circumcision to bring Jews and Muslims together.
Local chapters of the Jewish Community Relations Council and Anti-Defamation League are teaming up with a couple of practicing Jewish and Muslim families to file a lawsuit demanding that San Francisco's elections director remove the highly publicized circumcision ban from the November ballot.
