Lady Gaga Covers ‘The Advocate,’ Says She Feels Connected To Madonna
Lady Gaga, who is currently going toe-to-toe with Britney Spears in our Song Of Summer 2011 poll, covers the August issue of GLBT mag The Advocate. In the issue, she discusses her own advocacy for equality issues and comparisons with the trailblazing pop stars who came before her — particularly the Material Girl. “There’s no drama, there’s no jealousy, there’s no competition,” Mother Monster tells the publication. “I just feel so connected to Madonna in a lot of ways, and I feel connected to Barbra, and I feel connected to Cher and Blondie and all of the women who came before me.” Well, get ready, Gaga, because the supposedly-dethroned Queen Of Pop is on her way back.

Lady Gaga Shows Her Ties To France On ‘Taratata’
Before heading round the world to Japan, globe trotter Lady Gaga filmed a set of performances for French TV show Taratata. The newly appointed Queen of Pop kept things simple while playing piano for “The Edge Of Glory” and “Hair” (with her long blue braids tied to a mini model of the Eiffel Tower). She picked up the pace with a dance routine for “Born This Way”, but while wearing a baggy men’s suit, calligraphy-looking eyeliner, blue eyebrows and a short blue bob, Gaga looked like comedian Paula Poundstone as a Cirque Du Soleil clown in the 1980s. Watch all the performances (and her interview) below.

Lady Gaga Performs At The MTV Video Music Aid In Japan [VIDEO]
Lady Gaga’s latest campaign to promote Japan tourism has been going well, possibly because of her lucky green hair. After sporting some pretty laid back apparel upon arrival in Japan and premiering her video for ‘Edge Of Glory’, Gaga proves that success may be her middle name. And her excitement over the recent LBGT win in New York is tangible! According to Daily Mail, Gaga decided to ditch the green and sport a blonde wig for her charity performance in Japan.
Seen here, singer Lady Gaga attends the Press Room during the MTV Video Music Aid Japan on June 25th in Chiba, Japan and during the MTV Video Music Aid Japan at Makuhari Messe. No one understands what the trick is with Gaga keeping her eyes closed, perhaps symbolism. But what we do understand is that Gaga looks hot and can dance like a champion! I’m loving the studs and spikes that only Lady Gaga can pull off in a regal manner!

BREAKING: LADY GAGA IS BALD!
Lady Gaga reveals her new look during the acoustic performance of her song ''Hair'' on the Paul O'Grady show.
Lady Gaga “The Edge Of Glory” Video
It’s old hat for a Lady Gaga video to shock us, but we’re baffled by the pop star’s simple approach in her video for Born This Way single “The Edge Of Glory”. Remember those hints about Enrique Iglesias-looking doctor characters and the wink to the video being “fishy”? Well, none of that takes place in this video. Instead, we get Gaga wearing leather, fishnets and the wardrobe from a late-80s Spike Lee joint, dancing around a street corner like she’s in Do The Right Thing. It’s the most un-Gaga-esque video she’s given us yet. See for yourself below.

Lady Gaga's "Germany's Next Top Model" Performance
Taking the grand stage overseas, Lady Gaga was the special guest performer during the finale show of "Germany's Next Top Model" on Thursday night (June 9).
Held at the Lanxess-Arena in Cologne, Germany, the chart-topping singer joined host Heidi Klum as she performed her hit songs "Born This Way" and "Edge of Glory" on the season-ending episode.
With the show being webcast worldwide, Gaga even took a moment to interact with the show's judges as she suddenly blurted out, "I would kill for fashion."
Also performing during the evening showcase was Keri Hilson, while stunning blonde model Jana was crowned the winner of the catwalk-focused program.

Lady Gaga’s Racy Boom Boom Room Wear
She’s always been known for her interesting fashion choices, and last night (July 7) Lady Gaga was spotted looking pretty much naked in New York City.
The “Bad Romance” babe made her exit from the Boom Boom Room sporting a see-through getup after performing at the CFDA Awards after party.
Earlier in the evening, Gaga showed up at the 2011 CFDA Fashion Awards to accept the trophy for Fashion Icon of the Year.
Of course, she also flashed her chest to the paparazzi thanks to a wardrobe malfunction in the arrivals area.
Miranda Kerr, Gerard Butler, Ashley Greene & More Celebrate The 2011 CFDA Fashion Awards [PHOTOS]
It was a night of fashion and awards at Lincoln Center in New York City last night (June 6). The 2011 CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) Fashion Awards took place and the fashion was as diverse as the attendees. Click the read more link below for a full list of winners.
The handsome Anderson Cooper, wearing Ralph Lauren, was the host for the event. Jessica Alba covered her baby bump in Diane von Furstenberg, while Ashley Greene wore some hot pink Michael Kors. Kirsten Dunst wore a Patrik Ervell tuxedo, and Alessandra Ambrosio was red hot in Prabal Gurung.
Lady Gaga won the Fashion Icon Award and she got a little teary-eyed during her speech. She talked about how important fashion was in her life as a pathway to self-discovery, artistry and confidence. As a teenager, she’d save her money to buy vintage Thierry Mugler from a neighborhood thrift shop, checking in with the salesman regularly to make sure her favorite pieces hadn’t sold while she was raising the cash. She planned her outfits for Friday night parties as if she was going to the Oscars, she said.
“As much as this award means to me personally … I just want you to know how much this means to young Americans,” Gaga said.
