Obama, Ahmadinejad, Hitler, Munich: Negotiating with Madmen for Dummies

Obama and Meeting Ahmadinejad without Pre-Conditions
Negotiating with Madmen 101

Can anyone say "Munich"?

Barack Obama wants to negotiate with Iranian nutjob, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad--without pre-conditions. Obama tried to muddy the waters on the subject during the first presidential debate, saying that John McCain "mischaracterized" his position.

But, it's right there on barrackobama.com:

“Obama supports tough, direct presidential diplomacy with Iran without preconditions.”

Never mind that the Europeans have been talking to Ahmadinejad for years--predictably, with no results. Obama thinks that, like George Bush, he has the ability to look into the souls of the soul-less.

Negotiating with Iran for Dummies

The title of this video is "ZUCKER TAKES ON THE IRAQ STUDY GROUP AND JAMES BAKER", but it might well be "Negotiating with Madmen 101".

David Zucker produced Airplane!, the Naked Gun movies, Scary Movie 3 & 4 and a new movie, An American Carol.

An American Carol pokes fun at the Left--something rare for a Hollywood movie made after 1962--and it's funny, in the humble opinion of everyone here who's seen the trailers.

An American Carol comes out Friday, October 3. The movie's release raises many questions.

Will it be successful?

If it is successful, will Hollywood make more movies making fun of the Left?

Check back Monday, October 6. That's when the weekend's box office results will be in and DBKP will track the movie's performance.

As for Barack Obama and Ahmadinejad?

One would never lose money betting that Obama won't do what's best for Obama--and that includes waltzing with a guy who wants to nuke Israel and America the first chance he gets.

Barack Obama Supports Ahmadinejad Talks with No Pre-conditions

Obama and Meeting Ahmadinejad
Debate: Not for a Meeting without Pre-Conditions
Obama's Website: For a Meeting without Pre-Conditions

Is Barack Obama for or against meeting Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, without pre-conditions?

Depends on when Obama's asked the question.

During the first presidential debate, Obama certainly sounded like it was preposterous for John McCain to even suggest that Obama would meet the man who's vowed to "wipe Israel off the map" without pre-conditions.

From Marc Ambinder: In July of 2007, Barack Obama was asked by a video questioner: "Would you be willing to meet separately, without precondition, during the first year of your administration, in Washington or anywhere else, with the leaders of Iran, Syria, Venezuela, Cuba and North Korea?....."

"I would," he answered.

When Senator Hillary Clinton attacked Obama over that stance, Obama operative, David Axelrod started the backing and filling.

"What he meant was, as a government, he’d be willing and eager to initiate those kinds of talks, just as during the Cold War there were low-level discussions and mid-level discussions between us and the Soviet Union and so on. So he was not promising summits with all of those leaders."

A visit to barrackobama.com says the exact opposite, however.

"Obama supports tough, direct presidential diplomacy with Iran without preconditions."

From Yes, Obama supports direct presidential talks with Ahmadinejad:

In friday's debate, Obama continuously denied that he supported direct talks with president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad without preconditions. According to Obama's own website:
Diplomacy: Obama supports tough, direct presidential diplomacy with Iran without preconditions. Now is the time to pressure Iran directly to change their troubling behavior. Obama and Biden would offer the Iranian regime a choice. If Iran abandons its nuclear program and support for terrorism, we will offer incentives like membership in the World Trade Organization, economic investments, and a move toward normal diplomatic relations. If Iran continues its troubling behavior, we will step up our economic pressure and political isolation. Seeking this kind of comprehensive settlement with Iran is our best way to make progress.

It's no wonder that Obama runs from positions he took when he was trying to win the Democrat nomination--he had to appeal to the DailyKOS/Code Pink wing of the party. During the national election, he has to appeal to a much broader electorate.

But according to his own website, Obama would meet with Ahmadinejad without pre-conditions.

Ahmadinejad has repeatedly stated that he will "wipe Israel off the map" the moment Iran possesses the nuclear capability to do so. Some on the Left has said that Ahmadinejad did not really say that--that he was merely quoting the Ayatollah Khomeini. Google "myth of wiping Israel off the map" and over 57,000 results are returned.

At the same appearance in Tehran, Ahmadinejad also spoke of the "fairy tale of the Holocaust".

"Now in the West insulting the prophet is allowed, but questioning the Holocaust is considered a crime," he said, accusing Europaeans of not allowing "neutral scholars" to investigate "the truth about the fairy tale of Holocaust."

Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad today echoed his earlier threats to "wipe Israel off the map" by telling a mass demonstration in Tehran, commemorating the 27th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, that Palestinians and "other nations" will remove Israel from the region...

Meanwhile, the crowd chanted, "Death to America," "Death of Israel," "Death to Denmark."

Ahmadinejad doesn't want to annihilate Israel; John McCain "mischaracterized" Obama's position.

Ahmadinejad did say he would "remove" Israel from the region--as many maps in the Arab world have already done.

It little wonder the Mainstream Media doesn't fact-check Barack Obama: first, he's their chosen candidate; second, pinning down a lawyer on exactly what he stands for or against is no easy task--even when you're trying.

Obama has said--more than once-- he would meet Ahmadinejad "without pre-conditions".
Regardless of what Obama said in the first presidential debate--on national TV, trying to appeal to a national audience--he's still insisting on his own website, that a no pre-conditions meeting is his position.

GOOD THING AHMADINEJAD DOESN'T BELIEVE IN THE GOLDEN RULE

He'd Never Set Foot Near Ground Zero
Mark Steyn's Take on the Iranian Nutbag

by Mondoreb

Mark Steyn got it exactly right about Ahmadinejad's NYC visit during his weekly interview on the Huge Hewitt show on Townhall.com.
MS: I think the correct attitude to these things is a very simple one. Under the agreement by which the United Nations sits in New York City, the United States cannot deny entry to any foreign head of state. That being so, he should land at the airport, he should go directly to the United Nations, and no state or municipal or other officials should offer him these courtesies in any way. This would be a disgusting photo op that he would use to his advantage back home. And the City of New York should not be cooperating with him.
Steyn gives Mitt Romney a plug concerning Romney's stand against a previous Iranian President.
MS: That’s right. If he wants to see the results of Islamist terrorism, there are a lot of places he can visit much nearer to home. In fact, Mitt Romney, one of the best things he ever did was to deny the state troopers protection facility to Ahmadinejad’s predecessor when he was invited to speak at Harvard. And Mitt Romney had the right line on this. If Harvard wanted to issue these idiotic invitations, that’s up to them. But the taxpayers of Massachusetts are not going to fund the visit by providing protection for these guys. And in the end, the event was cancelled. And that’s exactly the line that the state of New York should be taking, too.

Ordinary Americans will be shocked to discover there are officials in NYC who see nothing wrong with giving Ahmadinejad a key to the city. It's up to those same ordinary Americans to let New York City know exactly how they feel.

In a world of perfect karma, Ahmadinejad would be captured by American "students" and held hostage for over a year, paraded before TV cameras and threatened almost daily with death.

Iranian Denials to Follow: ”He Was a Tourist With Explosive Inclinations”

by Mondoreb

By now, everyone knows their parts: Iranian is captured by U.S. forces in Iraq, Iran issues denials, the Europeans and the UN will issue calls "to remain calm" and more Americans fighting in Iraq will die.
US-led forces in Iraq say they have arrested an Iranian officer operating in the north of the country.
They say the man was a member of the Quds Force - an elite unit of Iran's Revolutionary Guards - and was detained in the Kurdish city of Sulaimaniya.

"This individual has been involved in transporting improvised explosive devices," the American military said.
More on this BBC story.
It's perfectly OK for Iran to be operating in Iraq trying to kill American soldiers--if they had the balls to declare war. Since they don't, it's only fitting that the 'cowboys from the U.S.' do it for them. And do it before they become nuclear-armed.
