"Good Life" is the fourth single released from OneRepublic's second studio album Waking Up.

Google used the song in its 2010 in review video, introducing the band to thousands of new fans. The song is featured on the advertisements for the film Eat Pray Love, in the trailer of One Day, in the film Easy A and also in the Cougar Town episode "The Same Old You", and in the Rookie Blue episode "Fresh Paint."

The song was released on June 21, 2011 in conjunction with a live performance of the song on The Voice and it was officially released to iTunes on same day. The song's lyrics refer to a male protagonist's ability to impress a female with his moves, which he compares to those of Mick Jagger. It was written by Adam Levine, Benny Blanco, Ammar Malik and Shellback, and it was produced by Shellback and Blanco. The song debuted at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100, therefore making it the band's first Top 10 single since 2007's "Makes Me Wonder" and Aguilera's first Top 10 since 2008's, "Keeps Gettin' Better". 'Jagger' also marks the first time two former Best New Artist Grammy winners have collaborated on a Hot 100 hit.

The Edge Of Glory by Lady Gaga

"The Edge of Glory" is a song by American recording artist and songwriter Lady Gaga, taken from her second studio album Born This Way (2011). The song was released digitally on May 9, 2011, and was added to mainstream radio playlists in the United States on May 17, 2011. Alongside with "Hair", it was originally released as one of two promotional singles before the release of Born This Way. Following the success of the song in digital outlets worldwide, it was announced that it would serve as the album's third official single.
"The Edge of Glory" features production from Lady Gaga, Fernando Garibay and DJ White Shadow. Recording sessions for the song took place at The Living Room Studios in Oslo, Norway and Germano Studios in New York City. "The Edge of Glory" is a dance song that speaks of the very last moments of living on Earth. According to Gaga, lyrical inspiration came from the death of her grandfather, who died in September 2010. The melody of the song resembles much of the musical works of Bruce Springsteen, and contains several qualities similar to that of electro rock and synthpop musical works. It is notable for the incorporation of a saxophone solo, performed by saxophonist Clarence Clemons, who was a prominent member of The E Street Band shortly before his death.
Contemporary critics praised "The Edge of Glory", with many deeming the song as an album highlight. Much of the praise went to the song's chorus and the musical production. Critics also complimented Gaga's vocals, describing it as "soulful". The song charted on the top-ten in several major music markets, including Canada, Belgium, Norway, Spain, and New Zealand. In the United States, it debuted at number three on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Gaga's tenth consecutive top-ten single in the United States.
A music video for the song was filmed in late May, co-directed by Gaga and the Haus of Gaga. The video is notably simplistic in contrast to much of Gaga's previous work. Such dramatic differences include the lack of intricate choreography, lack of back-up dancers, and the use of only one outfit designed by Versace. Critics commended the simplicity of the video, while several music critics went on to compare the music video of "The Edge of Glory" with the works of Michael Jackson and Madonna, notably "Billie Jean" and "Papa Don't Preach", respectively.

Super Bass by Nicki Minaj

"Super Bass" is a song by American recording artist and songwriter Nicki Minaj, from her debut album, Pink Friday. The song impacted radio as the album's fifth single on April 5, 2011 and was released on May 13, 2011. Written by Minaj, along with Daniel Johnson and Ester Dean, the song includes additional vocals from Dean. Production of the song was done by Kane. According to Minaj the song's lyrics tell the story of a boy that you have a crush on and are about wanting to get intimate but instead taking a playful approach. The song draws from the hip hop, R&B genres while infusing elements of pop and Minaj's rap.
"Super Bass" received mainly positive reviews from critics. The song was complimented for its memorable hook, lyrical context and for its chorus. It garnered attention by pop stars such as Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez. The unplanned cover done by Swift prompted Minaj to eventually send "Super Bass" to radio as a single. In the United States the song charted on the Billboard Hot 100 reaching the top five. A music video for the single was shot in March 2011, by director Sanaa Hamri. It was initially expected to premiere on BET's 106 & Park on April 27, 2011, but the video's premiere was later pushed to May 5, 2011 for unknown reasons. The video received generally positive reviews from critics, most of whom complimented the "eye candy" and colorful visuals seen throughout the video.

The Edge of Glory by Lady Gaga

"The Edge of Glory" is a song by American recording artist and songwriter Lady Gaga taken as the third official single from her second studio album Born This Way. Written by Gaga, Fernando Garibay and DJ White Shadow, and produced by Gaga and Garibay, "The Edge of Glory" was released digitally on May 9, 2011 and officially impacts US mainstream radio on May 17, 2011 as the first of two promotional singles before the album's release. Following the success of the song in digital outlets worldwide, it was announced that it would be given a full release.
The song contains several qualities similar to that of electro rock and, in particular, synthpop musical works. The solo was performed by saxophonist Clarence Clemons, a prominent member of The E Street Band. Inspiration for the song came from the death of Gaga's grandfather, who passed away in late 2010. The song is notably upbeat and anthemic in contrast to the darker nature associated with many songs in Born This Way, as it features a number of influences from contemporary pop and jazz music of the 1980s and 1990s.

There ain't a reason you and me should be alone
Tonight, yeah baby (2x)
But I got a reason that you-hoo should take me home tonight
I need a man that thinks it right when it's so wrong,
Tonight yeah baby (2x)
Right on the limit's where we know we both belong tonight

It's hot to feel the rush,
To brush the dangerous
I'm gonna run back to, to the edge with you
Where we can both fall far in love.

I'm on the edge of glory,
And I'm hanging on a moment of truth,
I'm on the edge of glory,
And I'm hanging on a moment with you,
I'm on the edge
The edge (6x)
I'm on the edge of glory
And I'm hanging on a moment with you
I'm on the edge with you

Another shot, before we kiss the other side,
Tonight, yeah baby (2x)
I'm on the edge of something final we call life tonight
Alright, alright
Put on your shades 'cause I'll be dancing in the flames
Tonight, yeah baby (2x)
It isn't Hell if everybody knows my name
Tonight, alright, alright

It's hot to feel the rush,
To brush the dangerous
I'm gonna run back to, to the edge with you
Where we can both fall far in love.

I'm on the edge of glory,
And I'm hanging on a moment of truth,
Out on the edge of glory,
And I'm hanging on a moment with you,
I'm on the edge
The edge (6x)
I'm on the edge of glory
And I'm hanging on a moment with you
I'm on the edge with you

I'm on the edge with you

I'm on the edge with you

I'm on the edge of glory,
And I'm hanging on a moment of truth,
I'm on the edge of glory,
And I'm hanging on a moment with you,
I'm on the edge
The edge (6x)
I'm on the edge of glory
And I'm hanging on a moment with you
I'm on the edge with you
With you (4x)
I'm on the edge with you
With you (4x)
I'm on the edge with you
With you (4x)
I'm on the edge with you
With you (4x)

Judas by Lady Gaga

The word "Judas" is written in capital red letters on a dark brown background. Below is a red cross with a black heart in the middle."Judas" is a song by American recording artist Lady Gaga, taken from her upcoming second studio album Born This Way (2011). The song was released worldwide on April 15, 2011, four days ahead of its scheduled release, by Interscope Records. Written and produced by Lady Gaga and RedOne, "Judas" is a dance song that speaks of a woman in love with a man who betrays her while simultaneously embodying things that have haunted her in the past, thus representing something that was bad for her – something she could not escape. Gaga explained that it's also about "honoring your darkness in order to bring yourself into the light, [...] You have to look into what’s haunting you and need to learn to forgive yourself in order to move on."
"Judas" has a similar sound to Gaga's previous singles like "Poker Face", "LoveGame", "Bad Romance", and "Alejandro", and contains three distinct hooks and a break down influenced by house music. The breakdown contains influences of tribal-techno and dubstep. Gaga explained that the lines spoken during the breakdown talks about her being beyond the ability to redeem herself, in terms of the traditional views of what a woman is supposed to be. The artwork for the single was designed by Gaga in Microsoft Word and features a black background with the word "Judas" written in red capital letters in Impact font. It was released via her web video series, Transmission Gagavision. Critics noted similarity between "Judas" and "Bad Romance", but praised the musical production of the song, complimenting its energy and the robotic break down.
A music video for the song was filmed in early April, co-directed by Gaga and Laurieann Gibson and co-starring Norman Reedus. It includes a Biblical storyline where Reedus plays Judas Iscariot and Gaga plays Mary Magdalene. Prior to its release, the Catholic League condemned Gaga for the alleged use of religious imagery and her role as Magdalene in the video.

Oh-oh-oh-ohoo
I'm in love with Juda-as, Juda-as

Oh-oh-oh-ohoo
I'm in love with Juda-as, Juda-as

Judas Juda-a-a, Judas Juda-a-a, Judas Juda-a-a, Judas GaGa
Judas Juda-a-a, Judas Juda-a-a, Judas Juda-a-a, Judas GaGa

[Lady Gaga - Verse 1]
When he comes to me, I am ready
I'll wash his feet with my hair if he needs
Forgive him when his tongue lies through his brain
Even after three times, he betrays me

I'll bring him down, bring him down, down
A king with no crown, king with no crown

[Chorus]
I'm just a Holy fool, oh baby he's so cruel
But I'm still in love with Judas, baby
I'm just a Holy fool, oh baby he's so cruel
But I'm still in love with Judas, baby

Oh-oh-oh-ohoo
I'm in love with Juda-as, Juda-as

Oh-oh-oh-ohoo
I'm in love with Juda-as, Juda-as

Judas Juda-a-a, Judas Juda-a-a, Judas Juda-a-a, Judas GaGa

[Lady Gaga - Verse 2]
I couldn't love a man so purely
Even darkness forgave his crooked way
I've learned love is like a brick, you can
Build a house or sink a dead body
I'll bring him down, bring him down, down
A king with no crown, king with no crown

[Chorus]
I'm just a Holy fool, oh baby he's so cruel

But I'm still in love with Judas, baby
I'm just a Holy fool, oh baby he's so cruel
But I'm still in love with Judas, baby

Oh-oh-oh-ohoo
I'm in love with Juda-as, Juda-as

Oh-oh-oh-ohoo
I'm in love with Juda-as, Juda-as

EW

[Bridge]
In the most Biblical sense,
I am beyond repentance
Fame hooker, prostitute wench, vomits her mind
But in the cultural sense
I just speak in future tense
Judas kiss me if offensed,
Or wear ear condom next time

I wanna love you,
But something's pulling me away from you
Jesus is my virtue,
Judas is the demon I cling to
I cling to

[Chorus]
I'm just a Holy fool, oh baby he's so cruel
But I'm still in love with Judas, baby
I'm just a Holy fool, oh baby he's so cruel
But I'm still in love with Judas, baby

Oh-oh-oh-ohoo
I'm in love with Juda-as, Juda-as

Oh-oh-oh-ohoo
I'm in love with Juda-as, Juda-as

Judas Juda-a-a, Judas Juda-a-a, Judas Juda-a-a, Judas GAGA
