Yes, it is weekend! First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to all my family and friends who had been asking my health status for these past few weeks. The weather here in Penang, Malaysia was super hot (note: the weather IS still hot, but a little bit windy now) which made my recovery process a tad too slow. Definitely need to drink lots of water and wear a less cloth as possible.
During this hot and sweaty weather, the only way I survived this condition is by watching American Idols Season 9! Yeah! The Idols are back and this season, I am rooting for one of the girls to win it! My favorite contestants (at this moment) would be:
Male: Lee Dewyze, Andrew Garcia
Female: Siobhan Magnus, Crystal Bowersox, Lilly Scott
On the similar note, it has been a while since I saw Adam Lambert performed (with his tongue kissing and all). So, I was glad when I saw Adam Lambert’s performance during The Tonight Show with Jay Leno with the guests included Sarah Palin and Shaun White (Olympic gold medal TWICE!) last week. Jay Leno was in his full self, Sarah Palin never had been funnier, Shaun White with his inspiring story and Adam Lambert closed the show with a bang performance!
I also saw Danny Gokey performing during the Top 20 results for the American Idols this season. He has ventured into the country music genre, which seems to be a good stepping stone to lunch his career. Not to forget, Allison Iraheta and Kris Allen, both were already performing in this season American Idols too. Kris Allen’s album is one of my favorite current albums (others included Sade – Soldier of Love and Florence and The Machine – Lungs) and even though some of Allison Iraheta’s songs sounded too much like Pink, I enjoy listening to her album. All in all, American Idols Season 8 top contestants are doing well in their career. Hopefully, another batch of talented artists will be born this year.
