Mascara For Different Budgets Review

Hi Guys

So today I'm going to be going through the best mascaras for different budgets. I don't tend to believe that just because an item has a high price that it is going to be an amazing product.

I wear contact lenses and all of these mascaras are suitable for lense wearers. I do have long natural lashes but I love full volumized lashes as dark as possible. I always put vaseline on the side of my finger and lightly blink before applying mascara. I find that this helps separate my lashes so I can ensure that I get the little ones in the corner.

Best Mascara for under £12

Loreal Paris Telescopic Mascara in Black purchased from Boots (boots.com) at £10.29

This is the best mascara that I have found for quite a reasonable price. I read an interview with Cheryl Cole who said that she loves this product so I raced down to boots to buy it....if its good enough for Cheryl then its good enough for me.
The wand is bendy so its fab for getting the little lashes in the corner of the eye. Its essential that you make sure you get these little lashes as they will help make your eyes look bigger. Because of the price I use this mascara regularly however it doesn't seem to last very long. I had to reapply it in the afternoon as for some reason it had fade....unsure how but it did.

Best Mascara For £12-£17

Benefit Bad Gal Mascara in Black purchased at Debenhams for £16.50 but Boots have it for £15.83 at the moment
Everyone raves about this mascara and I can kind of see why as benefit do make great products and I love how they come up with the names for their products. For the first 5 uses it was really good but after that I found that I wasn't getting very much on the wand. Maybe I used it all in 5 uses as I do wear a double coat of mascara. Other than that I thought it was great my lashes looked gorgeous and it added a lot of volume which I love!!

Best Mascara For £17+ (my fave ever!!!)

Yves Saint Laurent Luxurious Mascara False Lash Effect from Debenhams for £22

This mascara is the item that I am saving in a fire! My mum got me this for Christmas and I have not stopped using it since. I had read good reviews about it but I just thought it was too pricey but now I have tried it I think that it is worth the money. Yes it is pricey but its waterproof, it doesn't make your lashes clumpy and its buildable which is the fabbest bit (is fabbest a word? No? Well it should be!) You can use it if you are going for a natural look (or a I can't be bothered look) but if you are going out with the girls then just apply two coats and you do look like you have false lashes on its amazing! I cannot rave enough about this mascara. There are some online websites which do have this mascara cheaper but I'd make sure that its from a site that is well known and recommended. Ooooo also if you buy any products from Debenhams you get beauty points so you can purchase products at a later date with the points you've earned.....good way to justify the spend to the boyfriend hehe

As with all mascaras for a full eye do make sure you curl your lashes before any mascara is applied.

So go buy one of these products and flutter those lashes!
