Paris Hilton Pleads Guilty For Cocaine Possession, Avoids Jail Time By Cutting A Deal

In late August, Paris Hilton was arrested for possession of cocaine at Wynn hotel in Las Vegas. A car in which Paris was a passenger was stopped, with police finding 0.8g of cocaine in the bag she was carrying. Paris claimed the purse the baggie of coke fell out of was not hers but of course no one believed her because she is a lying whore. So Paris Hilton was arrested for possession of cocaine in Las Vegas on August 27th and she was facing up to four years in jail if convicted on all charges. And since she absolutely did it, going to court to fight it would not be the greatest of ideas. So yesterday she plead guilty in a deal that avoids all jail time. TMZ report:

Paris just fessed up to misdemeanor drug possession and obstructing an officer -- and in exchange she must pay $2,000 in fines, complete 200 hours of community service and complete an "intensive" substance abuse program. She will also be on probation for one year.

The judge informed Paris that she has been given a one year suspended sentence -- which means if she is arrested for anything other than a minor traffic violation, she will spend 1 year behind bars.

The judge then warned Hilton, "The Clark County Detention Center is not the Waldorf Astoria."

So the hotel heiress narrowly avoided jail after being given a one-year, suspended sentence after she pleaded guilty to drug possession and obstructing a police officer. Some people complain that drugs are illegal in this country, but from what I can tell they are not illegal at all. These Hollywood celebrities get arrested all the time but no one ever goes to jail. "I know Ms Hilton is contrite and accepts the responsibility for her actions," her lawyer David Chesnoff said following the trial. "She was treated like anybody else would be treated under the circumstances." LOL... What a joke? Since she was arrested until now many people have been waiting in jail cells in Vegas for the same crimes as her. But I think Paris Hilton is running out of those 'get out of jail free card' so her time will come soon. Click on pictures to enlarge.

Paris Hilton Got A New Mugshot, Her Boyfriend Headed To The Unemployment Line

Paris Hilton's latest mugshot has been made available. Paris Hilton was arrested for cocaine possession in Las Vegas late Friday night, and she got her third mugshot in the process. Paris and her new boyfriend Cy Waits were cruising along Friday night when cops noticed a certain smell wafting from their vehicle. Cy was arrested for DUI, while Paris was busted for possession of cocaine. And apparently she has decided to pull a Lohan and claim that the purse which contained the coke wasn’t hers. Smoke was wafting from a Cadillac Escalade on the Las Vegas Strip when a motorcycle officer who suspected the smell was marijuana stopped the vehicle. Reportedly, police asked Paris and her boyfriend to go inside the Wynn Hotel for questioning, to which they both agreed. At one point, the socialite took out a lipstick, which is when a small bag of cocaine fell out of it.

Not to worry, Paris was arrested and released without paying any bail so the amount must be very small. And I have to say it's a pretty nice mug shot, isn't it? As for Paris' beau, Cy Watts, he's a Las Vegas club operator. Cy Waits is actually the one who got knife wielding intruder Nathan Lee Parada to drop the two knives he was carrying by pulling his gun on Nathan during the incident at Paris's house last week. And now according to reports, Cy has been fired along with twin brother Jesse Waits by Steve Wynn. So, will Paris Hilton stick around if Cy Waits is no longer gainfully employed? The Waits firing comes hours after the DUI arrest Friday of Cy with girlfriend Paris Hilton. Cy Waits was covered online as a "nightlife mogul," joining with his twin brother as managing partners at Tryst Nightclub (Wynn Las Vegas), Drai's (Las Vegas) and XS Nightclub (Encore Las Vegas). "Wynn has a zero-tolerance policy with their club execs when it comes to brushes with the law," said one Las Vegas insider.

But the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports just last week that Waits was just promoted by Steve Wynn only on Wednesday. Las Vegas Review-Journal claims the Waits promotions was following an alleged fallout between Wynn and Victor Drai. Reports say that Wynn terminated Drai's contract just last week (before the Hilton Waits arrests). On the 27th, Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that "taking over for Drai are twins Jesse and Cy Waits, managing partners with Drai in Tryst nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas and XS nightclub and Botero restaurant at Encore." So Cy has not only facing charges that could send him to jail but he has also losing his job. And with his lost of power in the Vegas club scene he will undoubtedly lose Paris as his girlfriend because she is only with him because of this power.

By Sunday, reports now claim Paris' parents are "flipping out" about Hilton's latest arrest. The drug arrest is her third this summer. Charges were dropped by South African cops who arrested her and a pal at the World Cup after finding some marijuana. Then just a fortnight later she was discovered with more cannabis in her handbag in Corsica. The amount was less than a gram so it was too small to warrant prosecution on the French isle. The hotel heiress has hired Las Vegas top-notched attorney, David Chesnoff to represent her to fight the new charges. Not just any high-end lawyer but the most powerful attorney in Las Vegas. On Saturday, Hilton's attorney David Chesnoff spoke out about the arrest, encouraging people not to "rush to judgment." She was first arrested in 2006, then pleaded no contest in 2007 to alcohol-related reckless driving and went to jail. Those two mugshots are below the blow up of the new one.
