Sorry for the lack of update! I have been very, very busy at work (insert screaming voices here). Anyway, I managed to make an e-book just for my readers! If you noticed inside the subscribe box, there is a link to a download page. You can download it there, or you can just click the link below:
For those who have been following my Twitter account, I love to post #quote tweets. These are some of the interesting quotes I gathered online. Have fun reading it! I promise I will post a new post later this week. Wish me luck!
I planned to join Music Monday last week, but my works have already piling up by then. I have to do two technical writings last week. One entitled Water for The Future: Challenges and Potential Solutions and the other one is about Solid State Fermentation. I actually hate doing technical writing. You have to make sure the facts are correct and reliable, the tone must be straight forward and you need to use those technical terms. After all the hours of writing, I usually need to relax my mind. And last month, I found the right tune for my relaxing moments.
Therefore, let me introduce to you, my latest craving of electric pop; Owl City! The music blended well with the lyrics and every time I listen to one of Owl City songs, I will be escaping myself from the reality to the place where Adam Young’s voice guided me. Awesome!
"Hello, my name is Adam. I prefer daydreams over reality. Music is my muse. I write and record in my basement. I have trouble sleeping. These songs are all I have to show for my sleepless nights. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them. It means the world to know someone is out there listening. You have no idea how much I appreciate you. Thank you."
- Adam Young, the genius behind Owl City
Okay, I must admit that I have a man crush with Adams; both Adam Young and Adam Lambert (check out how gay Adam Lambert in this post) that is – BTW, can’t wait for American Idol finale, but then, I would be falling for everyone that could leaves me with a warm feeling inside especially after hours in front of my laptop. See you again next time! I hope I had more time online this week. Miss you guys and thanks for your support! Happy Monday!
Check out Owl City - Hot Air Balloon! A new single will be out every month! Just sign up at the Owl City's official website to download this awesome song! And no, this is not a paid post. I here just for the music!
We wrote a prelude To our own fairy tale And bought a parachute At a church rummage sale
And with a mean sewing machine And miles of thread We sewed the day above L.A. In navy and red
We wound a race track Through your mom's kitchen chairs And fought the shadows back Down your dark basement stairs
I lit a match, then let it catch To light up the room And then you yelled as we beheld An old maroon hot air balloon
I'll be out of my mind And you'll be out of ideas Pretty soon So let's spend The afternoon in a cold hot air balloon Leave your jacket behind Lean out and touch the treetops over town I can't wait To kiss the ground Wherever we touch back down
La la la la la laaa La la la la la laaa
We drank the Great Lakes Like cold lemonade And both got stomach aches Sprawled out in the shade
So bored to death you held your breath And I tried not to yawn You made my frown turn upside down And now my worries are gone
I'll be out of my mind And you'll be out of ideas Pretty soon So let's spend The afternoon in a cold hot air balloon Leave your jacket behind Lean out and touch the treetops over town I can't wait To kiss the ground Wherever we touch back down
I'll be out of my mind And you'll be out of ideas Pretty soon So let's spend The afternoon in a cold hot air balloon Leave your jacket behind Lean out and touch the treetops over town I can't wait To kiss the ground Wherever we touch back down
