Madonna's True Blue was released June 30th, 1986. And 25 years later, every single track from an album I never owned remains burned into my brain, each song irrevocably linked to images of bars, boys, cars, and vacations. That, to me, is the hallmark of superstardom - when casual or even non-fans cannot help relating personal timelines to an artist's catalog.
