Seattle Murder Suspect: God Told Me To Rape And Murder Those Lesbians

A Seattle man on trial for the 2009 rape and fatal stabbing of a lesbian couple told the court that God had instructed him to commit the crime.

"I was there and I was told by my God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to attack my enemies, and I did so," Isaiah Kalebu said under questioning by one of his lawyers. The trial started three weeks ago, but the testimony was the first time jurors had seen Kalebu, who was previously so disruptive in court that the judge barred him from attending. He watched the trial via closed circuit television from another courtroom before indicating he wanted to exercise his constitutional right to testify in his own defense [snip] Kalebu is accused of slipping in an open window of the couple's home in Seattle's South Park neighborhood and repeatedly raping and stabbing them during a two-hour attack. One woman, Teresa Butz, died naked and blood-soaked in the street in front of her home as neighbors tried to help. Her partner survived and told the jury that Kalebu was the man who did it.

Kalebu was convicted of all charges (including first degree murder) and was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Love Isn't Supposed to Hurt (A Poem Against Domestic Violence)

This is a poem depicting the pain and anguish of a victim of domestic violence, who in turn, looks for a way to free herself from the clutches of a painful and violent relationship. What that woman realizes is that there is only one way, and daringly, she opts for that only way to protect herself against domestic violence!

Many women suffer the ordeal of domestic violence, many of them fail to make a voice, often women are forced to accept violence and injustice against them as a way of life. There are many facets of domestic violence against women and that includes, wife beating, honor killing, female foeticide, Dowry killing, rapes and many more.. I don't know if there is anyway to create a society where no such incidence will ever occur. I sincerely doubt it. Because violence or crime against women is no different then violence or crime against humanity. And the fact is, crime and violence is just another facet of humanity. It is an incurable disease for humanity.

A smile on my face
A twinkle in my eye
The makeup covers the marks

I watched your body for a while

Your face was unrecognizable
It was a sight I just adored.

I put the gun to the side

You told me you hurt me for my own good

Kansas Lawmaker Says Women Should Plan Ahead For Rape: ‘I Have A Spare Tire’

The anti-choice tidal wave stemming from the 2010 elections has produced nearly 1,000 anti-choice billsthis year alone. When Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback (R) took office last year, he called on the state legislature to create “a culture of life” and, in the last 15 minutes of their annual session, they delivered. The Republican majority passed a law to ban insurance companies from offering abortion coverage in their general health plans, except when a woman’s life is at risk.

However, one pro-choice Republican, state Rep. Barbara Bollier, feared that Republicans were cutting off “a way for women to cover the cost of terminating pregnancies” — particularly when they’re unintended. During the House debate, she “questioned whether women would buy abortion-only policies long before they have crisis or unwanted pregnancies or are rape victims.” But state Rep. Pete DeGraaf (R) was ready with a shocking retort. DeGraaf said women should plan ahead for situations such as rape because, after all, “I have a spare tire on my car“:

During the House’s debate, Rep. Pete DeGraaf, a Mulvane Republican who supports the bill, told [Bollier]: “We do need to plan ahead, don’t we, in life?”

Bollier asked him, “And so women need to plan ahead for issues that they have no control over with a pregnancy?”

DeGraaf drew groans of protest from some House members when he responded, “I have spare tire on my car.”

“I also have life insurance,” he added. “I have a lot of things that I plan ahead for.”

DeGraaf’s belief that women should plan and prepare for their own rape is more than groan-worthy, it’s woefully out-of-touch. As Jezebel’s Margaret Hartmann notes, DeGraaf is basically telling sexual assault victims that “the state isn’t AAA” so a Kansas woman is responsible for the consequences of her attacker. And by comparing it to life insurance, DeGraaf goes further to insinuate that rape is as inevitable as death.

Unfortunately, this Boy Scout dismissal of rape and incest victims is as galling as it is common among the GOP. More and more Republican lawmakers are adopting the Sharron Angle “make lemonade” attitude towards pregnancies resulting from rape. This year, one Indiana lawmaker even suggested that women would fake their own rapes to secure an abortion procedure.

“There’s clearly a message here that women are dispensable,” said Kansas state Rep. Annie Kuether (D).”I’m sick and tired of being treated like a second-class citizen.”

When "Boys Being Boys" Becomes
"Boys Being Crudely, Criminally Cruel"





Since I've been blogging about crime especially as it relates to school kids I've been noticing a disturbing trend over the past 8 years. It seems that a good number of scholastic athletes, high school and college, like to lord over their younger teammates by hazing them.

Now for those of you who are my age and went to school in the 80's you may say 'But Trench, I was a high school/college athlete and we hazed our teammates all the time.' Well, I'm not talking about taping someone to a goalpost or making someone run laps. Now the trend seems to be sexually assaulting younger teammates.

The most recent of these assaults that was brought to my attention allegedly took place with members of the Robertson High School football team. Robertson is a high school in Las Vegas, New Mexico. Four members of the football team have been expelled and are facing criminal charges for an incident that took place at a training camp. The four older teammates allegedly sodomized their younger teammates by sodomizing them with a broomstick through their shorts. I guess since they did it through their shorts they thought that was okay. The victims claim that an assistant coach walked in on the 'festivities', smirked and walked out without stopping it.

The entire coaching staff resigned over the allegations.

Speaking of broomsticks this kind of behavior is not limited to high schools or even the U.S. for that matter. At McGill University in Canada members of their football team assaulted a freshman in similar fashion in a ritual that they affectionately called 'Dr. Broom'. The victim ended up dropping out of McGill. The players were suspended for the remainder of the season which only had 2 games left and the University was fined $30K.

The most infamous of these cases, in my opinion, happened with football players from Mepham High School on Long Island. While away at a football camp in New Jersey the older players sodomized their younger teammates with a broomstick, golf balls, and a pine cone. The victims were harassed and the victims' parents were threatened in an overzealous football community. The suspects were tried as juveniles and received little to no time in any kind of correctional facility.

In too many instances in these kinds of cases the perpetrators are either not prosecuted or treated with kid gloves. To make matters worse, a lot of the time the communities will rally around the team rather than the victims.

If these kind of attacks, which basically amount to rape, happened in any other realm, the rapists would be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Since these happened in a school athletics situation it gets chalked up to 'boys being boys' and the school turns a blind eye.

I'm sorry but where I come from 'boys being boys' doesn't include being anally raped with a foreign object.
