The Echelon Effect - Seasons (EP Part 1/4) (2011)

Quote: "Hello Everybody from sunny London! First off the new music, here you go, (its name your own price), you should be able to buy straight from this email.

The beautiful cover is a photo from Olya Dzhgyr, who won the competition for spring

I thought i'd better show you guys what all the scheming over the last few months has been about. Again many late nights and cold beers has been "utilised" in making this Ep (this is the the first of 4 ending with a film at the end of the year).

It's truly feels great to get Seasons up and running, it feels like forever since i came up with the concept. If anybody doesn't know, I'm documenting 2011 in film, not by concentrating on global occurrences but more along the lines of seeing pretty things that catch my eye throughout the year. Think of it as a budget Heima ;)

Filming is going great, its a lot of fun and im learning loads, its so much harder than i thought.

Anyway, hope you enjoy the music. Feel free to come say hello on one of the many social sites you can find me on. Also say hello by email (info@theecheloneffect.com). Use this email for licensing queries as well,

See you for Part 2 in the summer

Dave

Álfheimr - What Allows Us To Endure (2011)

Quote: "For Nurul. I love you.
For Nathan. I miss you.
For my friends and family.

Thank you everyone who's helped me along the way, and thank you for downloading this album.

These are songs for laughter and forgetting, for beauty and for the little things,
and for the choices we make and how those choices change us.
These are songs for the inevitable and for celebrating the time we have now;
for the things we lose and the things we gain from their loss.
These are songs for closeness over great distances;
for time, and how it heals us.
These are songs for the future, and what we may make of it;
for all the difficulties we have faced and for those to come,
and for hope, which allows us to endure.

You can email me at madisonasche@hotmail.com if you want a hand-painted digipak for $50. Thank you."

Our Ceasing Voice - When the Headline Hit Home (2011)

Gradually the lights of the city come to new life, while the random flickering of the large neon sign three blocks away lasts and glances are lost in the distance. The sun slowly descends behind the silhouettes of the skyscrapers, taken over from the approaching night. The orange haze on the horizon is reflected in the windshields of the passing cars, raising the dust, which has been accumulated on the street. Here, between loneliness and hope, stories, which are able to change lives and guide our being exist. Soaking with melancholia Our Ceasing Voice tells these stories with their mix of hypnotic ambient and epic post-rock outburst and help the listener to catch the memories of long forgotten times, in order to save them from transience. Amidst the Tyrolean Alps the band was founded in 2006 already, but only with their debut 'steadied stars in the morphium sky EP' they drafted a journey through the mystery of gloom. Based on the upcoming novel by Sebastian Obermeir, Our Ceasing Voice's new 2011 album 'when the headline hit home' pursues this concept, while the development to a darker, more dynamic sound is clearly noticeable. Beautiful and saddening at the same time, the Austrians draw attention to fragility, passionately making one's flesh creep and thereby portraying a dramatic story full of yearning and desperation. How it will end, however, lies only in your hands.

Lowercase Noises - Ambient Songs (2010)

Quote: "This album is simply a collection of songs that I have performed on my YouTube channel. Each of these songs were performed live in one take, with no overdubs or edits afterward. That being the case, you will hear noises, me stepping on pedals, amp noise, etc. These songs are quite raw. If you are interested in watching the original videos, you can find them here."
