No, This Is Not a New Year Resolution

New Year Resolution

Lots of New Year resolutions have been unreservedly all over the Internet. Ranging from losing weight (favorite of all time) to getting married and/or have a baby. If you read one by one, the resolutions usually assembled few things:
  1. Personal consciousness (self improvement)
  2. Family theme (family oriented goals)
  3. Friendship that never ended (yeah, right)

The truth is, I have been experiencing lots of ups and down in the year 2010. I am officially a chemical engineer graduate, working in a property company, moved and renting alone two different houses in just few months, new car, newly found self boasting confident (note to myself: will tune that down in 2011) and met lots of new friends.

Monkey 2011
"Hi"

I considered myself as a social person; I enjoy meeting new people, with my adrenaline is pumping up to its highest velocity when being in a new and foreign environment. Between the first “Hi” until the series of conversations that followed suit, my mind is easily turned on by this kind of surrounding.

Nevertheless, in 2010, I learned a lot about friendships. In times, you will learn how to choose your friends well. If you’re not careful enough, the old friendship will be weaken by times and distance. A sentence that used to be funny now has becoming an awkward moment in conversation.

In the end, you are left with those who are still being around you; new friends and the old one who stayed. Just hope that those who left are the one who will have your back and care about you.

Happy New Year 2011

With that, I would like to wish all my friends, Happy New Year 2011! May this rabbit year will be joyful and fill with meaningful friendships. Be grateful too. Some people predicted the world will ends next year. Erk.

I need a new tagline, oh and Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas greeting, Greeting, Festive greeting, Christmas greeting
Finally I found the courage and time to start writing again. Sorry for missing in action for the last few days. I have been occupied with my new semester which annoyingly started last week. I don’t understand why they don’t want to wait until the next year before starting yet another mind, body and soul torturing semester.

With lots of public holidays (Yey to that) during the next few weeks before the New Year, I will most likely to spend most of my leisure time in front of my laptop watching the rerun of Angel (I love that show) and drafting and planning my next year resolutions. It's time to check my 2008 resolutions. Oh, and I will also rebranding Hot Shit Form Here for the next year.

  1. A clearer concept
  2. I categorized Hot Shit Form Here as a personal blog, but I always wonder whether I could venture into a larger concept apart from this concept. And if I could, what is the best concept that I could use? Change it to an information site? Or added a new concept as a complimentary of the old concept?

  3. A new tagline?
  4. I don’t think “The best shit is yet to be formed” was the best tagline ever invented. One may wonder what is this “best shit” I have been waiting for this whole time? Or when this shit will be formed? Honestly, I don’t have a solid answer to these questions. Perhaps I should change my tagline to fits my concept well.

  5. A new header
  6. I love to change my header. Period.

Drop yours here:
Taglines suggested:
  1. "Need Shit? Get it here!" - Lady Java
  2. "Louder than Bomb" - Bluecrystaldude
  3. "The best is yet to be formed" - Bluecrystaldude
  4. "One of the best hot shit around" - ZackZara
  5. "Not Just an Ordinary Shit" - ZackZara (my favorite so far!)
  6. "If it's not hot, it's the wrong blog" - darklight
  7. "As Hot as Shit, as Hot as Chick" - Malshinoda (super LOL)
  8. "Fresh and Steaming Hot" - The Fitness Diva
  9. "Straight out the Pipe" - The Fitness Diva
  10. "Home of the Best Shit Ever!" - The Fitness Diva (interesting!)

I am looking forward for any interesting suggestions on how I should improve Hot Shit Form Here. Like my father once said, “the one who doesn’t observe will always stay the same. The one who keep on changing will always be ahead.”

I would like to wish Merry Christmas for those who celebrate it and a very happy New Year to all. Enjoy the remaining of 2008. Thanks for reading and have a nice day.

The Best Way To Celebrate New Year

A day before the end of year 2007, my course mates and I went to a waterfall and playing futsal in Taiping, Perak, about 50 kilometers from our university. It was a different kind of new year celebration as we usually celebrate it by watching fireworks and concerts. [both my arms are still in the pain from sliding down the rocks. Ouch!] Sixteen of my coursemates plus one generous donor came [many thanks to him ;D] By using seven motorcycles and one car, we sure made up most of the scene.
We arrived at Burmese Pool and Waterfall around 4.30 p.m. It has a natural water slide and the water is really cold. The surrounding area is to large to be captured on the pictures. But I did manage to take some:

I got so many pictures to share, but most of us were half naked and I don't think my friends will be flattered if I post it here. lol. On the way back, we came across Taiping Zoo & Night Safari and Taiping Lake Garden. [to see pictures of Taiping Lake Garden click HERE] I should go to Night Safari at least once before my graduation!

After that, we went to Pusat Futsal Purnama. The price for one court is USD14.68 [RM50.00] per hour. Quite a catch considered it was a weekend night. Of course we have to book in advance.
In case you're wondering why some of us not wearing any shirt on, we played on the rule of who get to score first, the other team's member has to take their shirt off. The Malaysian culture called it "togel". The rule usually implied on street soccer to differentiate other team's member. Even Nike already made a short movie about it entitle "JANGAN TOGEL"!
Exhausting and sweaty, I really hope that this 2008 will bring me more friendships and relatively a good year to live. I can't hope better than that. Thanks for reading.

Your Merry Christmas may depend on what others do for you. But your Happy New Year depends on what you do for others

Finally it comes that time of the year when you need to reflect yourself whether you have done your last year resolutions, hopes, dreams and even small thing you promise yourself you NEED to do. Such as throwing my secondary school books which I put under the stairs for ages. [I should never start from this moment make myself unfulfilled promise]. So, here I come..

THE 2008 resolutions [with no specific order]:

1. Finish reading my The Family Trees novel
Which my dad brought for me. When was that? err.. Two years ago?? The book is about, well family relationship. And my dad somehow thought my brothers and I should read it.

2. Thoroughly read through my emails
I have this kind of habit to just read the end of email first. If it interested me, than I ran the cursor up. [my friends should now how to do the trick by now. lol]

3. Go to Paris or U.K or europe at least once this year
As my holiday planning was reschedule last year. *sigh*

4. Know how to wear sarong or kain pelikat [as we call it in Malaysia] properly
I still don't know why my kain pelikat doesn't hung up like the way it should.

5. Getting good results
I really need to balance it with my extracurricular activities. To make things harder, I am taking maximum credit hour this semester. damn!

6. Should start learning how to save and manage money
I wonder why my scholarship AND my monthly incomes from my parents aren't enough. hurmmm..

7. Setting my blog visitor to 2000 by the end of year
I will write more interesting stuff and try to post as many posting as I can.

8. Meet new friends and trying to remember old friends

I already forgot my primary school friends! and to make matter worst, even some of my secondary school friends. I must by any means try to locate all our memories together. [Especially when the reunion is rumored around the corner. My bad. My bad..]

9. Make more quality times with God
Or should I make it more public? Some of my muslim friends are thinking that I have lack of iman or my belief in God is very shallow. Who are they to judge people?? Marah nih. huh

10. Manage my Facebook, two accounts in Myspace and Friendster
I have so many cyberspace friends than I can handle. Should start limiting my number of friends, tighten up my privacy life [and public lies. lol] and should stop giving people my phone numbers. In other words, Stop Trusting Strangers!

A happy New Year to the world!
