Rorcal - Heliogabalus (2010)

Quote: "Going right out of inferno, HLGBLS is a 70 minutes song which illustrates the decadence of the Roman emperor, Heliogabalus. This time Rorcal is going ways further than before, with crushing doom parts, including long hellish droning fields. This album is scary, really aggressive, completely gloomy. Be sure, you never heard something like that, and you never will. If you’re looking for something really extreme, this is exactly what you need.

CD packed in special limited edition!
CD presented in an A6 digifile, including an 8 pages color booklet. Limited to 500 copies. Hand-assembled and hand-numbered Booklet inserted into a black envelope. Sealed with blood-red wax."

Time Has Come - Neurodiversity (2010)

Death-, Grind-, Math-, Hardcore band from Germany. Similar to "War From A Harlots Mouth" . This release is mixed with Ambient interludes.

Quote: "Call it Hardcore, Grind, Techmetal, Noise, Mathcore, call it whatever you want. Time Has Come combine raging, soul-searing vocals, pile-driving riffs, unrelenting mathematical drum fury, high-end dissonance with the brute force of hardcore and the musicianship of a metalhead to an over the top wrecking ball, making even the most cynical of hard music veterans go cry to their mommies!

After a band existence of about four years THC can look back on +60 inland and abroad shows, on sold-out cds or even on in a blink of an eye gone merchandise. Time Has Come first output, a SplitCD with Dead For Seven Weeks, received overwhelming reviews for their tracks on the cd. In 2007 they released a 4-track ep on the infamous tape-label Yehonala Records. Their first full length record will be out in 2008, expect the unexpected.

Since Time Has Come's very start their destructive and tight liveshow has always been a trademark and kept crowds all over europe speechless. They shared stages with bands like Heaven Shall Burn, The Cursed, Walls Of Jericho, Deadlock, Hatesphere and toured with their brothers in mind and lifeforce rec. artist War From A Harlots Mouth and brazil's no1 metalcore-export Confronto.

Fast forward almost complete 2007. A few members have left the ranks. There have been peaks and valleys, crosses to bear, and good times had by all. Time Has Come may have been underground for the last 12 months, but they are crawling their eight legs and hairy backs out onto the streets, with their bloodlust for new prey!

It is about time that these guys destroy the next venue in your hometown with their (self-) destructive live-performance. This is not another goteborg ripoff, not another trendy emometalband, no lame youth crew nike-nerds, no dull hatebreed-wannabees, this is something unorthodox unique with a love for destruction!"

Chakrun & Seas Of Stone SPLIT (2010)

Betrayal At Bespin - Diary Of A Dead Man Walking (2009)

Bei Betrayal At Bespin musste ich zuerst an was denken? Mal sehen. Zuerst zum Artwork von "Diary of a Dead Man Walking".

Reading the name Betrayal At Bespin my first thought was what? Sure, Star Wars. Why does a band call themselves like this? Will it be like in Star Wars a betrayal with a happy ending? We'll see.

First, the artwork of "Diary of a Dead Man Walking" is extreme elaborately decorated and gives you the kind of feeling you get while playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Someone put a whole lot of effort in this artwork, very nice!

The sound:
The intro seems a bit depressing and dark and you can already guess what is brewing on the Horizon. This is confirmed when you listen to "Road to Ghost Town". This is where the hard riffing and dark sound spreads to become a huge monster. A real thick sound with biting shouts - which is not everybodys favourite but it really fits. The "Ghost Town" in "Road to Ghost Town" comes out when the acoustic guitars start playing and you feel like being in a lost western city of The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. A really great atmosphere starts to build up, great!

The record alternates beautiful melodies, short breaks to take a breath and massive epic riffing. In the epic passages they sometimes remind me of the early Callisto but with a completely different background.

The whole thing is carried by this bleak, post-apocalyptic western style. The band succeeds in building a incredible atmosphere. If you have seen Deadwood - this is the soundtrack to it. They totally catch me when they change between riffing and beautiful acoustic melodies and - thank you guys - they do this often. Even the screaming, which was at the beginning a little strange for me because of the biting sound, fits really perfect and after a few runs i like it.

To make a long story short:
Betrayal At Bespin deliver a thoroughly convincing disk with "Diary of a Dead Man Walking". It could be settled between the early Callisto, Cult of Luna and a more traditional metal influences. If you like these bands try this album i'm sure it'll get you like it got me!

Home - Promo EP (2010)

___________________________________________________________

Home had many names and formations since the beginning of this project. The final formation exists ever since octobre 2009. After a first trailbrazing gig at the end of 2009 in the PMK in Innsbruck the 3-piece decided to change the name a last time and record a Promo EP.

The band exists of very popular names of the underground-scene in Innsbruck. Hans-Peter Ganner (Vocals, Bass; / Bassist-Sahara Surfers, ExBassist-DNR, ExBassist-Crippled), Amadeus Mader (Guitar; / ExGuitarist-Botanical Garden, ExGuitarist-Room 101) and Multi-Instrumentalist Mathias Magerle (Drums; / ExVocalist-DNR, ExGuitarist-Crippled, ExMultiInstrumentalist-Jokers In Trousers).

With the 3 songs of this EP, that was recorded in no time, Home demonstrates pure strength and surprises (at all events ME) with a totally new soundscape. This is Hans-Peters first try in a band as vocalist with a totally brachial voice. The tunes are generally very hard to classify with a genre. It reminds me very much on the sounds of Kylesa. But it is also very hard to range the music of Kylesa.

A mix of Sludge, Psychedelic and Hardcore is awaiting you with this release. This is for everybody who is searching for music full of power! Have fun!
